Buyer questions

Practical answers before you send an RFQ.

Cable types, manufacturer evaluation, samples, standards and commercial questions—answered before you enquire.

Is BGS a cable manufacturer or a sourcing company?

Bhuvika Global Solutions (BGS), a trade name of S.B. Enterprises, is an India-based sourcing and coordination company. We work with suitable Indian cable manufacturers to review requirements, coordinate quotations, samples, agreed inspection and supply. Manufacturing capability and product approvals are confirmed for the selected source.

Which industrial wires and cables can BGS help source?

BGS can evaluate requirements for power cables, building and flexible wires, control and instrumentation cables, rubber cables, automation cables, solar cables, automotive and EV cables, fire-performance cables and special applications. Availability depends on the specified construction, quantity and manufacturer capability.

Can you develop a custom cable from a drawing or sample?

Yes. Share the drawing, datasheet, sample details or application requirements. BGS coordinates a feasibility review with suitable manufacturers covering conductor construction, insulation, screening, sheath, operating conditions and testing. Sample development and production follow the agreed specification and approval process.

Can cables be evaluated against IEC, EN, BS, UL or other standards?

Yes. Include the exact standard, edition and required approval or test evidence in your enquiry. BGS reviews the selected manufacturer’s capability and relevant documentation for that cable construction and destination. A standard designation alone does not establish certification.

What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?

MOQ and lead time depend on cable construction, conductor size, materials, production lengths, testing, packing and manufacturer capacity. Sample and production schedules are quoted for the specific enquiry after technical review.

What should I include in a cable RFQ?

Send the cable type, application, conductor material and size, core or pair count, voltage, insulation and sheath, screening or armour, required standard, quantity, packing and delivery country. Add drawings, datasheets, sample details, test requirements and target timing where available.

How are samples, inspection and shipment handled?

Sample requirements and acceptance criteria are agreed before production where applicable. For purchase orders placed with BGS, every unit is inspected against the agreed criteria. For a direct manufacturer purchase order, the inspection and support scope is agreed for that order. Packing and dispatch documentation are coordinated within the agreed scope.

Can a cable enquiry include power cords and wire harnesses?

Yes. A wider OEM requirement can include power cords, cord sets, wire harnesses and selected related components. Share the bill of materials, drawings and assembly requirements so the sourcing and commercial scope can be reviewed together.
